Rising Up Together empowers youth to connect with others, find purpose, and build resilience so they can thrive. Our 10-week program engages youth through interactive activities and meaningful discussion, teaching valuable life skills in a safe environment.
THE 10-WEEK JOURNEY
The Rising Up Together curriculum takes a creative, hands on approach to empower youth to take charge of their overall well-being and success. This 10-week program is filled with fun activities that engage youth socially and help them connect with each other through meaningful discussions. We focus on reinforcing the life skills being taught, making it easy for them to implement what they've learned. Our activities and discussions aim to foster connections and empower youth to become confident and to lift themselves and others in a positive way!
Week 1
DEVELOPING FRIENDSHIPS
Building meaningful friendships begins with kindness and empathy. Participants engage in fun, hands-on activities that teach positive communication, listening, and inclusion, which helps form supportive, lasting connections with others.


Week 2
CULTIVATING CONFIDENCE THROUGH KINDNESS
Confidence grows when we replace self-doubt with compassion. This week focuses on recognizing “imposter thoughts” and practicing positive affirmations, empowering students to believe in their strengths and uplift those around them.
Week 3
EXPRESSING GRATITUDE
Gratitude is a simple yet powerful habit that boosts happiness and resilience. By acknowledging everyday heroes and moments of appreciation, participants strengthen relationships and learn to find joy in the little things.


Week 6
FINDING PURPOSE
Discovering personal strengths and passions helps guide a sense of direction in life. This week introduces the growth mindset: viewing challenges as opportunities to learn, explore talents, and embrace new possibilities.

Week 8
TIME MANAGEMENT & GOALS
Small daily habits can lead to big accomplishments. Participants learn to set clear goals, manage time effectively, and reduce stress, building routines that make dreams feel achievable and success more sustainable.

Week 10
STRENGTHENING RESILIENCE
Resilience is about rising up again and again after challenges setbacks. Through reflective discussions and practical strategies, participants learn to adapt, persevere, and approach challenges with optimism and courage.
Week 4 and 5
STRENGTHENING FAMILY RELATIONSHIPS
Empathy, kindness, and open communication bring families closer together. Through shared activities and conversations, participants practice listening, expressing themselves with respect, and spending meaningful time with loved ones. Ultimately building trust and a stronger sense of belonging.

Week 7
DISCOVERY SHOW
Creativity takes center stage as participants showcase their hobbies and talents. This week encourages courage, teamwork, and celebration of individuality while inspiring others to share their hobbies, talents, and gifts.

Week 9
REACHING MY POTENTIAL
Focusing on what can be controlled brings freedom and confidence. This week encourages mindfulness, healthy routines, and self-discipline, all of which are essential tools for becoming one’s best self and pursuing long-term goals.
